I'm Alex McCune, nice to meet you! I currently work as a Help Desk Analyst at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where I diagnose and resolve IT issues efficiently to ensure smooth operations. With a strong foundation in programming languages like Go, C#, and Python, along with prior hands-on experience in managing servers, I consistently deliver effective solutions.
My main technologiesinclude Go, C#, Python, AWS, and Docker (with a sprinkle of front-end HTML + CSS + Javascript/Typescript). I'm constantly learning and exploring new technologies to stay ahead of the curve.

Managed the Computer Science Lab utilized by over 200 + Faculty, Staff, and Students. Deployed and maintained Ubuntu and Windows 2016 servers that helped provision lab operations as well as communicate with the University's LDAP system. Maintained 30 desktop work-stations for utilization as well as lab equipment.

Contributed to developing Python OpenCV Software to analyze card quality across thousands of trading cards and managed within a PostgreSQL database for efficient classification. The software is now utilized for helping automatic quick categorization of card quality for easier evaluations.

Twitter Bot Little_T
A Machine Learning Model built with Markov Chains, written in Python, and deployed via AWS Lambda functions to give real time interaction with Twitter users thanks to the Twitter Account Activity API. It uses Twitter's General API for tweet data collection and the popular Python Tweepy library \for interaction with Twitter's API.

Repeat Offender
Repeat Offender is a React Web Application that allows you to remove duplicate tracks from your Spotify playlists. It utilizes Spotify's API to Authorize users (Oauth) and scan their playlists \for duplicate tracks. It then allows the user to remove the duplicate tracks from their playlists. It is built ontop of SvelteKit deployed via Vercel.

Betrayal + Masque Royale
Masque Royale is a battle royale social deduction game where everyone has unique roles and abilities to help them in their interactions. The game is hosted interchangebly between Discord as well as a standalone Web App. Both utilize Golang and share a PostgreSQL Database to ensure syncronized game data. Both the discord and web app are deployed via docker images.
